Buda-Cash, DRB, Hungária Értékpapír shared same auditor

Competition

One single auditor is the connection between brokerages Buda-Cash and Hungária Értékpapír and the DRB banking group, National Bank of Hungary (MNB) deputy governor in charge of oversight, László Windisch, said in an interview published by portal figyelo.hu today.

According to the deputy governor, the name of the auditor kept popping up during the central bank’s investigation of the brokerages and DRB.

MNB recently revoked the licenses of Buda-Cash and the DRB banking group and reported suspected criminal activity to the police. It also recently partially suspended the operating license of Hungária Értékpapír after finding irregularities.
