Bill would ease sanctions against SMEs
Hungary’s justice minister László Trócsányi submitted a bill to the Parliament under which Hungary’s anti-trust authority would receive the option to warn instead of fine SMEs on their first offence in Hungary, national news agency MTI said.
According to the minister, the bill would still require the Competition Office (GVH) to fine SMEs for a first offence if it violates European Union rules.
