57,000 names inscribed on non-delinquent taxpayers list

About 15,000 companies and private individuals have added their names to a list of non-delinquent taxpayers compiled by the National Tax and Customs Authority (NAV) so far this year, bringing the total number of entries on the record to 57,000, daily Magyar Nemzet said on Thursday. Most of the names on the list are companies, with only 700 entries from private individuals. Inscription on the list can make it easier for foreign nationals to get a residency permit and can give companies a competitive edge when bidding for orders.
