Hungaryʼs National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) on Friday said it signed contracts with Magyar Telekom and Telenor “ensuring the validation of subscriber rights” when tariff changes take effect on July 1. The NMHH announced a probe of the two telcos in June to determine whether the tariff increases they planned were in compliance with regulations. The authority prohibited the companies from implementing the tariff rises until the probe was completed.
