Rossmann sees 8% revenue growth in Hungary

The Hungarian unit of German health and beauty products retailer Rossmann expects to close the year with revenue of HUF 51.3 bln, up by 8% as compared to the figures in 2013, the unit's managing director László Flórián announced today.

Last year, the unit's revenue climbed 8.9% to HUF 47.5 bln as compared to the previous year.

The number of Rossmann units is expected to rise from 180 to 184 by the end of this year with staff numbers reaching 1,201, the director said.

The unit closed made a net profit of HUF 1.45 bln last year.  This year, store development and renovation are expected to cost the unit HUF 1.2 bln.
