Realigned Napi Gazdaság to get a new name
The Fidesz friendly daily Napi Gazdaság (Business Daily), whose publisher was recently acquired by the former editor-in-chief of daily Magyar Nemzet, will be renamed Magyar Idők (Hungarian Times) from September, editor-in-chief Péter Csermely told state news agency MTI yesterday.
Csermely said the paper had undergone a transformation since the acquisition from a business journal to a general interest paper. Csermely, as well as Gábor Liszkay, the new owner of Napi Gazdaságʼs publisher, resigned from daily Magyar Nemzet in February, after a falling out between the paperʼs owner Lajos Simicska and the prime minister.
