Hungarians must work almost eight years to buy property
Hungarians have to work, on average, 7.8 years to pay the price of a new 70 sqm flat, according to a study compiled by consultancy Deloitte, Hungarian news agency MTI reported yesterday.
Deloitte put the average price of a new home in Hungary at €960 per square metre last year, 25% cheaper than in Czech Republic and about 15% less than in Warsaw.
