Sustainability

About 103,000 homes changed hands in Hungary in the period of January-September, more than the total number in any of the years between 2009 and 2013, real estate broker Duna House told Hungarian n news agency MTI.

In January-September 2014, the number of home sales’ transactions was below 74,000, wich is 40% less than this yearʼs figure, Duna House added.

The number of transactions in September was around 11,000, similar to August.

Between March and July this year, the number of home sales was around 12,000 every month, Duna House said.

The number of transactions in September 2014 was slightly over 10,000, already signalling an improvement on the property market, Duna House said.
