Hungarian real estate broker Duna House Holding acquired Polish peer Metro House equity in exchange for Duna House shares and an unspecified amount of cash financed from bank credit, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.

Metro House operates 80 offices in Poland, employing more than 600 brokers, and just like Duna House, the Polish company has franchise partners and offices. The Polish company brokers home loans as well, MTI noted.

Revenues of Metro House last year were approximately one-third of those at Duna House. Duna House had after-tax profit of HUF 966 million on revenue of HUF 2.8 billion in 2015, MTI said.
