Wingholding plans green bonds issuance

Hungarian property developer Wingholding yesterday published a green bond framework on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
Wingholding aims to issue green bonds to increase its investment in "green and sustainable projects" by developing new buildings with improved energy efficiency and upgrading the energy efficiency of existing buildings.
Funding raised from the green bonds could go toward green building, energy efficiency, clean transportation, or biodiversity projects.
The developer said its green bond framework was independently reviewed by Norway's CICERO Shades of Green. Wingholding raised HUF 54.4 billion from a bond issued under the Bond Funding for Growth Scheme (BGS) of the National Bank of Hungary in the spring of 2020.
