Q4 Resale Flat Prices Fell 3.5%

The average price of resale flats in Budapest fell 3.5% in the fourth quarter compared to Q3, real estate broker Otthon Centrum said this week according to portfolio.hu.

Prices fell by more than 10% in the central Districts IV and V as well as in leafy District XII.

Prices in upscale District I dropped 8%.

On the other hand, prices rose 15% in the outlying Districts III and X. The average home price was HUF 963,000/sqm, but was as high as HUF 1.2 million/sqm in District V.

The price data does not include housing estates built during the socialist era.
