Original offer prices on residential properties up 3%

Advertisers of residential property for sale raised original offer prices by an average of more than 3% earlier this year, according to profitline.hu.
This is unlike previous years when owners and realtors reduced prices after posting ads. In Budapest, the price of more than 34% of the residential properties on offer increased in the first six weeks of 2022, compared to less than 20% in recent years.
In the market outside Budapest, such as cities with county status, more than 40% of the sellers increased the price compared to the original, while in previous years, 22-30% of them decided to do so.
