Movement Already Visible on Sublet Market

While the sublet market's primary season begins in two months, movement is already visible, according to profitline.hu.

The supply has increased by 40% in two years, and owners are awaiting tenants in nearly 14,500 apartments or houses for rent. In Budapest, the average rent for three- or more room apartments is HUF 390,000.

Such residential properties are available in the largest university towns for HUF 170,000-310,000.

One-room studios in the capital are offered to tenants for HUF 175,000, while two-room apartments are typically HUF 250,000.
