Home sales in Hungary fell 5% year-on-year to 13,793 in February, according to an estimate by listed real estate broker Duna House, writes origo.hu.

Duna House noted that the number climbed 5% from the same month in 2020.

The broker augured a "strong start" to the year on an "even more active March," although acknowledging the possible impact on the market of the war in Ukraine.

Duna House estimated mortgage outlays reached HUF 93 billion in February.
