Home sales edge over 150,000 in 2021

Home sales in Hungary came to 150,974 last year, state news wire MTI reports, citing an estimate of transactions by listed real estate broker Duna House.
Home sales climbed 15% from a year earlier.
In December alone, home sales reached 11,422, rising 10% from the same month in 2020.
Duna House estimated that lenders signed contracts for HUF 110 billion of home loans in December. For the full year, home loan outlays are estimated to have risen over HUF 1.3 trillion.
