Rejuvenated Park Atrium Welcomes DDB

Office Market

A major player in the creative industry worldwide, advertising agency DDB signed a lease contract with Dereif Hungary to occupy 868 sqm of top-quality office space on the fourth floor of Park Atrium office building from September 2023, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The location of the new Budapest office was selected to fit the trifold criteria of excellent visibility and accessibility, a prestigious building of great design, and complex fit-out solutions delivered by the landlord.

The overarching technical rejuvenation and architectural facelift of Park Atrium in 2021 also contributed to DDB’s decision to choose this City Park office building, the press release notes.

Hannes Wirnsberger, CEO of DDB Budapest pointed out, “Our main driver was to find the ideal work environment for our colleagues, where creativity is both boosted by and exhibited in the design of the physical space. Large open arrangements, functional collaboration areas and a unique design will characterize the new DDB Budapest office. We are truly happy to have found our new corporate home in Park Atrium, where we can continue to grow, and deliver exceptional results for our global clientele.”

Horizon Development’s leasing director Máté Bihari added, “Having managed the negotiation process from beginning to end, I had a chance to get a deeper insight into the emotion-based brand approach of DDB that also greatly played into how they envisioned their own work environment. I am confident that their new office will resonate with their core values and aesthetic preferences.”

Senior manager Dominik Ewerz concluded on behalf of the landlord, a property fund based in Luxemburg and managed by Reinvest Asset Management S.A., “I am delighted that DDB – an acknowledged international player in brand creation – will be among our great, diverse tenancy. The recent overhaul of our mechanical and electrical base systems, complete with the design upgrade of our common spaces, as well as the introduction of new building services and the constant care of our attentive property management make Park Atrium more attractive as an office environment than ever before.”
