press release

Three of Immofinanzʼs office buildings in Hungary – Szépvölgyi Business Park, Greenpoint7 and Central Business Center – were awarded the BREEAM In-Use certificate, the company announced today.

“Receiving the BREEAM In-Use certificate plays a key role in maintaining our competitiveness. We have experienced that it is of increasing importance for tenants to have their office in an environmentally sustainable building, and this is one of the important factors when choosing a property in Budapest,” said Viktor Nagy, country manager of Office and Logistics at Immofinanz. “We are happy that three of our office buildings have been successfully certified, with more following soon,” he added.

The process scored building management as “very good” for all three buildings, where the inherent performance characteristics of the building based on its built form, construction and services are graded, the press release said. This assessment reflects management policies, procedures and practices related to the operation of the building, according to Immofinanz.

BREEAM In-Use is a scheme to help building managers reduce the running costs and improve the environmental performance of existing buildings.
