Fidelidade acquires office building in Budapest

Companhia de Seguros, S.A. (“Fidelidade”), a leading Portuguese insurance company, acquired BC 140, a multi-tenant office building in Budapest, through its real estate investment arm, Fidelidade Property, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The asset was acquired from a fund managed by DWS, one of the world's leading asset managers.

With 16,270 sqm spanning over eight floors, BC 140 is located in Váci út, integrated in one of the most dynamic and prominent office submarkets in Budapest, with a strong presence from international tenants. The building is served by a wide array of public transportation.

This transaction aims to add another source of long-term stable income to Fidelidade’s real estate portfolio, in line with the company’s investment policy, the press release notes.
