Municipal council buys local plant from Videoton for HUF 250 mln

The municipal council of Kunhegyes, central Hungary, purchased a local plant from electronics manufacturer Videoton for HUF 250 million, city mayor András Szabó said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The city plans to rent out the 2,400 sqm and 900 sqm production halls and 2,000 sqm of office space, the mayor explained. A medical equipment manufacturer has already expressed interest in the site, he added.
