Duvenbeck to expand logistics centre

Industrial

German logistics company Duvenbeck will continue to expand its logistics centre in Kecskemét (E Hungary) with a 14,000 sqm storage facility for almost €10m, business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Wednesday.

The first phase of the development includes a 5,000 sqm hall that allows 70 new hires.

Duvenbeck is paying the city HUF 247m for two properties that serve as the location for the new facilities, the newspaper wrote, quoting regional paper Dél-Magyarország.

Duvenbeck inaugurated in September the first 5,000-square-meter section of a new logistics centre built at a cost of €4m to serve the nearby Daimler plant.
