Christmas ornament maker completes expansion

Family-owned Christmas ornament maker Pannónia-Dekor has completed a HUF 40 million expansion at its plant in Sopron (NW Hungary), company Managing Director Erzsébet Zsófia Wratschko told MTI on Tuesday.

Half of the costs was covered by European Union grant, Wratschko said.

Pannonia-Dekor added 400 sqm to its 1,200-sqm production base and restructured to boost efficiency.

The company already hired six more people, bringing the total number of workers at the factory to 22.
