Trade in the shares of construction company Épduferr started on the Budapest Stock Exchange's (BSE) Xtend platform for SMEs on Friday, according to a release on the bourse's website.

The company is a general contractor for projects of multinationals and big Hungarian companies. It also sells building materials.

The head of the board of directors, Milan Palkovics, said the firm's short-term goals are to raise more funds and to be listed in the BSE Standard category.

The company's plans are focused on international expansion, to which the listing may also make a significant contribution.

The company registered 50 million ordinary shares on the Xtend platform at the end of 2021. The company later carried out a successful private capital increase and raised HUF 1 billion of capital by issuing 19.89 million shares.
