Professionals in the construction industry are pessimistic, with 95% expecting a crisis, 83% of whom believe it will be this year, according to a quick survey of 150 construction professionals by Mapei Kft., reports profitline.hu.

According to the survey, although there are signs of a slowdown, it is being successfully mitigated by subsidies for home renovation and home creation, at least until December 31.

According to 45% of the surveyed experts, the effects of the crisis are already being felt, while another 38% say that the recession will reach Hungary within half a year, while 10% say it will arrive next year.
