Real estate company Skanska Property Hungary took home a nice prize from last week’s third annual Europa Property CEE Green Building Awards ceremony.

After having garnered some four local industry awards in Hungary, Skanska’s Green House was bestowed with a “Best Project” award in the Warsaw event within the “Shell and Core” category; Green House currently boasts 93% occupancy in its 17,800 square meters.

“This recognition is a great achievement which we are very proud of,” said Skanska Property Hungary sustainability manager András Schmidt.

“With the 93 point LEED Platinum certification, Hungary’s greenest building was confirmed to be exceptionally good. The EU GreenBuilding certification and A+ energy ranking are also official proof to our committed tenants that, with the outstanding energy efficiency and high percentage of innovative solutions, we are ensuring them a sustainable, cost-efficient and healthy environment…”

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
