Rába signs assembly agreement with Volvo
Hungarian vehicle company Rába yesterday reported that it signed an agreement to assemble fire trucks with Volvo Group Governmental Sales.
Under the agreement, Renault Trucks Defense will supply Rába with cabs and chassis, while the carriers and axles will be made by Rába at its base in Győr, and the equipment, such as tanks and pumps, will be handled by a local partner. The agreement covers a three-year period. The trucks will carry the Rába brand.
