Philips Lighting Hungary output climbs 50%

Philips Lighting Hungary raised its LED output by 50% to 1.8 million units last year lifting revenue, managing director Róbert Rudics told Hungarian news agency MTI on Friday .

Revenue of the company rose 30% to HUF 29.4 billion, Rudics said, adding that headcount climbed to 414 at the end of 2015 from 365 a year earlier. 

This year, the output is expected to rise to 2.5 million units, lifting revenue at the same pace, Rudics said. Headcount is seen reaching 500, he added.
