Proposal would allow changes to main budget figures if needed to reach IMF/EU deal

A proposal by Parliament's budget committee would create the possibility of changing the 2013 budget's main figures if required to reach an agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the European Union.
The proposal would allow exceptional changes to the revenue and expenditure lines of the budget before its final approval by Parliament.
The main figures of the 2013 budget were approved by Parliament in July.
Hungary is seeking precautionary financial assistance from the IMF and EU.
