PM expects reorganization among state secretaries

The dismissal of ministers is “not timely”, however, there will be changes in the cabinet among state secretaries after the performance of government and state secretaries is reviewed on June 6, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was cited saying in Hungarian daily Napi Gazdaság today.

"I have propositions on this score and ministers have given me signals which make it clear that some state secretaries will be changed," he told the paper. The full interview with the prime minister is scheduled to be published in tomorrow’s edition of the paper.

News reports have recently surfaced in the Hungarian media that Caucus Leader Antal Rogán could be appointed to the top of the Prime Minister’s Office, currently lead by Cabinet Chief János Lázár. Lázár reportedly said that he would resign if Rogán was appointed to the post.
