Hungarian government ministers formally appointed
President of Hungary János Áder on Friday formally appointed the ministers of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s third government.
Today’s agenda of the parliamentary meeting is that the newly appointed ministers are taking oath, PM Orbán gives a speech and introduces the new ministers and MPs. On ministry level, the new government sees minor alterations as compared to the last four year cycle.
The list of the new ministers is the following: Zsolt Semjén is minister without portfolio in charge of Hungarian communities abroad, Sándor Pintér (not an MP) continues as interior minister, Zoltán Balog remains minister of human resources, Sándor Fazekas stays on as minister of agriculture, Csaba Hende continues in defence, László Trócsányi (not an MP) is the new justice minister, Tibor Navracsics the new minister of foreign and external economic affairs, Mihály Varga stays on as national economy minister, Miklós Seszták is the new development minister, and János Lázár is minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office.
