Polish Unemployment Slightly Down in May, Minister Says

Poland's unemployment rate inched down by 0.1 percentage point to 5.1% in May, Family, and Social Policy Minister Marlena Maląg said on Tuesday, reported the Polish Radio.

There were around 803,600 people without jobs across the nation at the end of May, down by 18,300 from a month earlier, according to the government.

The Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate dropped to 5.2% in April, from 5.4% in March.
