State-owned postal company Magyar Posta will make a one-off payment of gross HUF 50,000 to all of its employees on March 3, the head of the Postal Workers Union said on Thursday, state news wire MTI reports.

Zsuzsanna Tóth said Magyar Posta's management agreed on the payment as wage talks have not yet yielded a comprehensive deal on remuneration.

Magyar Posta's headcount averaged 26,365 in 2021, public records show.
