Accredited companies may apply for a little over HUF 57 bln in support to hire people living with disabilities by October 30, state secretary for social affairs Attila Fülöp said on Tuesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The funding has been earmarked for 2023, Fülöp said.

The state secretary said there are some 400 eligible companies registered with the government, with 1,100 bases around the country.

The funding is helping with the employment of around 33,000 people with disabilities and around half of people living with disabilities now have jobs, he added.
