Employment rate among women at 67%

The employment rate among women in Hungary stands at 67%, just under the 68% average for the whole European Union, according to data compiled by EU statistical agency Eurostat on the occasion of International Women's Day.
In a regional comparison, the women's employment rate is 72% in the Czech Republic and 66% in both Poland and Slovakia, the data from 2020 shows.
Eurostat also noted that the employment rate among women from non-EU countries living in the EU averaged 53%.
