Czech jobless rate falls in April

The Czech unemployment rate decreased to 4.1% in April from 4.2% in the previous month, the Czech Radio reported citing fresh data released from the country's Labor Office.

This is the lowest rate of unemployment registered since December. The number of unemployed people fell to 297.900 from 306.600 in March, accompanied by an increase in job vacancies to 343.400 from 338.900 in the previous month.

The number of jobs that were available in April also rose in year-on-year terms by more than 10,000.
