Avg Hourly Rate for Blue-collar Workers Climbs 13% in Q4

The average gross hourly pay rate for skilled and unskilled blue-collar workers in Hungary climbed 13% to HUF 1,630 in the fourth quarter from the same period a year earlier, an analysis by staffing company Trenkwalder shows.
The hourly pay rate ranged between HUF 1,500 and HUF 1,650 in most regions but was as high as HUF 2,100 in central Hungary and the capital.
The analysis was based on the wage data of close to 7,000 workers.
The gross hourly statutory minimum wage in Hungary was HUF 1,495 for skilled laborers and HUF 1,150 for unskilled workers in Q4.
