Kinstellar Strengthens Hungarian Corporate M&A Team With New Partner

Annamária Csenterics

Annamária Csenterics has joined Kinstellar's Budapest office as a partner and co-head of the local corporate M&A service line, the company tells the Budapest Business Journal.

Csenterics is an experienced corporate M&A practitioner with a career spanning 20 years at international law firms and as an in-house lawyer. She has served as lead counsel on scores of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions, including spin-offs, split-offs, and exits. Her clients have included corporations as well as private clients domiciled in the United States, Europe, and Hungary.

She will co-head the local corporate M&A service line, including real estate and private equity, with partner and leading M&A lawyer Gábor Gelencsér, who joined Kinstellar in 2019 and who leads local and cross-border deals for major market players, especially in the banking and energy sector. They will be supported by English law qualified partner Anthony O’Connor, who is taking a broader firm-wide role with a leading role in Kinstellar's newly formed South East Asia desk. 

Prior to joining Kinstellar, Csenterics was a partner in the corporate M&A team of Dentons in Hungary for five years and previously worked at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Budapest. 

Over the course of her career, she has been recognized by the main international legal directories Chambers and Legal 500 as one of the leading lawyers in Hungary for corporate/M&A matters.

Csenterics earned an LL.M. degree in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., United States. She is a Hungarian and New York Bar-qualified lawyer and speaks Hungarian and English.
