NHK Spring building plant in Hungary

Japanese spring manufacturer NHK Spring is building a 10,000 sqm production and automobile suspension plant in Tata, northern Hungary, which is expected to employ 100 people once it is completed next year, Hungarian news agency MTI reported yesterday.

State secretary of the Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry László Szabó (pictured) said yesterday at the beam installation ceremony of the plant that the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) is in talks with seven Japanese companies which could invest a combined €364 mln in Hungary, and create 600 jobs.
