New site lets workers rate their employers

Analysis

Hungarian job-seeking website profession.hu launched its new site entitled munkatarsaim.hu, which translates as “my colleagues”, in order to help job-seekers getting to know the working environment of different companies before they accept employment there, the firm announced today.

Current employees can rate their firms and colleagues on the website, and add pictures of the offices and locations of their working environment. The creators say it will improve group cohesion and help applicants to decide whether it is the position and/or firm they are really looking for.

The beta testing version of the website was launched in 2014, with more than 6,000 firms and 100,000 users. The overlapping structure of the site with profession.hu is expected to help the site grow fast.
