Morgan Stanleyʼs Budapest office, specializing in tech, financial and risk analysis and mathematical modeling, has been recognized as Hungaryʼs best business services center (BSC) at the annual CEE Business Services Summit & Awards gala in Warsaw, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The company bested six other candidates for the "Business Services Firm - Hungary" recognition, awarded by an international jury of industry professionals.
"We are extremely proud of this recognition, which we received chiefly thanks to the professional, high-quality work of our colleagues working in Hungary," said László Hajdu-Németh, operative director of the Budapest office. "Our office opened in 2006 with a 30-person mathematical modeling branch, becoming an important technological and analytical center in Morgan Stanleyʼs global network in the past 12 years."
Budapest supports the company groupʼs operations in multiple areas, the press release says. Nearly half of the employees are involved in IT - especially infrastructure related to the bankʼs operation, and there are significant numbers of people in the financial, risk analysis, mathematical modeling, operational, and legal documentation branches as well.
