MNB fines savings cooperatives in Jászárokszállás for violations

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) today said it had fined Jászárokszállás and Environs Savings Cooperative HUF 5 mln on charges of numerous violations.

The savings cooperatives broke rules on providing clients with clear information, on opening current accounts, and on compensation rights, the MNB said. The central bank and financial market watchdog gave Jászárokszállás until the end of May to cease the violations and report on its compliance.
