MNB fines Commerzbank for HUF 20 mln

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) fined Commerzbank HUF 20 mln for deficiencies it found in the bank’s operations of accounting, collateral management, transaction rating and internal monitoring, the central bank said today (October 6) in an announcement.

The MNB said that the deficiencies do not carry risks that would significantly threaten the reliable operation of the bank, which it was investigating in the framework of a limited supervision in the period of December 31, 2012 - September 8, 2015.
