Michelin plans €40 mln expansion in Hungary
French tire producer Michelin said today that it was planning to expand production at its Hungarian base in Nyíregyháza (northeastern Hungary) within the framework of a €40 mln project.
The investment is expected to raise the plant’s daily output to 6,900 by the end of 2017 and raise headcount by 100. Hungarian news agency MTI noted that Michelin produces high-performance tires at its plant in Nyíregyháza.
