MET group sets up units in Russia, Turkey

MET group, an energy trader established in Hungary in 2007, has set up subsidiaries in Russia and Turkey, the group told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

The group now has units in ten countries, including Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovakia and the United Kingdom, although it trades on the gas markets of nineteen countries.

MET groupʼs revenue was close to €4 bln in 2014. Hungarian oil and gas company MOL owns 40% of MET group.
