Magyar Telekom realized the importance of environmental protection in the 1990s, and its incorporation of relevant practices was gradually integrated into its operations, the announcement says, adding that one of the most critical problems of our times is climate change.

In line with its sustainability strategy, Magyar Telekom employs innovative solutions to reduce energy usage and has been working towards increasing energy efficiency, the announcement says. The company is currently modernizing its network and data center, and increasing the use of hybrid cars among its employees, the announcement added.
