The DUIHK handed out its "Trusted Employer Awards 2019/20" to companies which have taken great care of the living and working conditions of their employees. During the evaluation process, the performance of companies in several HR fields was evaluated, such as wages, social welfare benefits, health and working conditions, training and retraining, and development opportunities.

"The title requires constant attention by the companies, as the honor is always for a period of only two years, so companies must prove themselves again afterwards," noted Tamás Steványik, representing the five-person evaluation panel, who presented the awards alongside the DUIHKʼs outgoing president Dale A. Martin.

Corporate communications head Judit Tőzsér represented Lidl at the ceremony.

"We are proud that the companyʼs performance as an employer is considered among the best for the second time now," she said. Lidl previously received the 2017/18 edition of the honor.

A press release with the full list of this yearʼs winners can be seen in Hungarian here.
