Usage of IP-based telephone services by businesses in Hungary has tripled in the past few years, Invitech Solutions concludes based on the growing demand it has experienced for IP extensions, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal today.

Wired technologies are expected to retain their significance in the coming years, according to Invitech Solutions, the arm of the Invitel Group providing professional services to SME, corporate, institutional and wholesale customers. Furthermore, IP-based business telephone services could become even more popular as the companyʼs IP Center is developing, Invitech added.

Applying for such services, SMEs can access opportunities previously only available for the biggest firms, according to Invitech. Such opportunities are becoming relevant these days as SMEs are currently planning their budgets for next year, looking for cost-efficient solutions.

“The calculator on the online interface [of IP Center] is aimed to help domestic SMEs recognize that such [IP telephone] services are reachable,” said Péter Kováts of Invitech Solutions. This comes especially handy now as companies are planning their budgets for next year, Kováts added.
