The IaaS cloud service of Hungarian telco Invitel was awarded a Cisco Powered IaaS certificate, as well as the Cisco Cloud and Managed Services Advanced Partner qualification, according to a press release issued on Friday.

The certificate is important for Invitel, the firm said, as the company places great emphasis on the continuous development of cloud services, the press release noted. Invitel said that the certificate it received will show that its cloud services conform not only to Hungarian legislation but also to the strictest international standards, the press statement said.

“Cloud-based solutions are living their golden age, therefore, as a leading cloud service provider we find it extraordinarily important to provide our users with the most effective usage for our technologies,” Áron Javorniczky, Invitel’s chief operative director of Corporate & Wholesale Business Unit, said. “I consider Cisco Powered IaaS an important milestone”, he added.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
