Wizz Tours celebrates third anniversary
Wizz Tours, the online travel service of Hungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air, has been operating for three years, and as an entirely independent entity for one year, Wizz Air announced today in a press statement.
Since last October, Wizz Tours have been used by 70,000 customers, a number expected to exceed 150,000 by the end of the year, the press statement noted.
The company was launched in October 2013 as a branch of Wizz Air, and became an independent firm in 2015. Wizz Tours currently offers more than 130 destinations and 30,000 hospitality facilities.
“Our aim is to enable all our passengers to freely put together their travel package based on their own demands,” said István Csanálosi, the recently appointed CEO of Wizz Tours. “Therefore, we are doing our best to continuously widen our services and offers,” he added.
