Wizz Air to launch Hurghada, Alghero routes
Hungary-based low-cost airline Wizz Air, announced yesterday that it would launch two new services from Budapest to Hurghada in Egypt and to Alghero in Italy for the 2015 summer season. The new routes will begin on May 16 and June 15 respectively. Including these two new routes, Wizz Air now offers a total of 39 routes to 22 countries from Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.
"We are delighted to announce these new services from Budapest to two very exciting destinations. The holiday resorts at Hurghada and the Italian island of Sardinia are very popular beach destinations for families and water sport lovers” György Abran, Wizz Air's Chief Commercial Officer said.
Abran added that the “weekend departure to Hurghada makes this destination ideal for a one week vacation while the twice weekly flights to Sardinia allow Hungarian travelers to go on a short getaway to the Med".
