Wizz Air to launch Budapest-Kutaisi flight

Hungary-based budget airline Wizz Air will launch a scheduled direct flight between Budapest and Kutaisi, the second-largest city in Georgia, from September 30, company CEO József Váradi said announced yesterday.

Wizz Air will operate the flight twice a week from September 30, and reportedly ticket prices will start at HUF 8,990.

Flights to Kutaisi from Budapest had been offered by Wizz Air, but only with a connection through Kiev.
